Which region should I choose?
Choose the available region geographically close to most players. Browser latency testing is an estimate and can vary with network conditions.
Does every region include DDoS protection?
Every SideroCloud region includes layered DDoS protection through Arbor Networks and Cloudflare.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Upgrades are generally applied immediately. Downgrades normally take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. Most resource changes require little to no downtime, although this may vary depending on the requested change.
Are backups included?
Your server receives automated off-server recovery points through dedicated SideroCloud backup infrastructure. Included options depend on the selected plan and configuration.
Can I create manual backups?
Yes. You can create and manage manual backups directly from your server panel.
How do I restore an automated recovery point?
Restoration of automated recovery points is available upon request through support. Exact automated frequency and retention are intentionally not published.
Can SideroCloud help migrate my existing server?
Move your server yourself or ask our team to assist. Assistance can cover worlds, plugins, mods, configuration files, databases and related server data depending on your requirements.
Is migration assistance free?
Simple migrations may be assisted free of charge. Complex migrations are reviewed individually and may be quoted based on the server size, configuration and work required. We will confirm any cost before beginning.
Can I install mods or plugins?
The panel and server configuration support should be checked for your chosen setup. If you need help moving an existing modded or plugin-based server, request a migration review.
